Pay-Per-Click Advertising

NEW LICENSEES – We will help you set up an AdWords account at no cost (for the setup) and load it with ~500 of our proven keywords, then you can decide if you want to hire someone to develop it further.

(NOTE: Before you jump into reading about Pay-Per-Click advertising here, it’s important for you to know that there are some real limitations to using this marketing technique if you are only looking for leads in a single zip code.  Search engines may tell you they can target by zip code, but it’s FAR from accurate.  Geo-targeting with Pay-Per-Click will work best for those who have licensed an entire city or county area.  One final point – some think that paid search advertising is inexpensive – it’s not.  This is a very competitive market and the cost per click can be high, and it takes a lot of clicks to get a lead.

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising is when you place ads in search engines (Google, Bing) and only pay them when someone clicks on your ad and comes to your website.  While it can be a very productive form of advertising, the process of setting up a new PPC campaign can be a bit complex.  But if you are “Internet savvy”, you’ll have no problem setting up an AdWords account & campaign on Google.

Three options for PPC advertising:

1. SET UP & MANAGE YOURSELF

This is the option described above in which you set up a Google AdWords account where you can create and manage your own campaigns.  You’ll want to make sure you are using your city page website address above, and most importantly, that you are GEO-TARGETING your ads so they only appear to people IN YOUR AREA.  Learn about geo-targeting HERE.  You’ll need to define your keyword list with terms such as:

  • Sell my house fast
  • Sell my house fast in [CITY_NAME] [STATE]
  • Sell house fast for cash
  • We Buy Houses in [CITY_NAME] [STATE]
  • Avoid foreclosure
  • etc.

There are thousands of possible keyword combinations – think about how homeowners might search for a buyer or for help selling their house quickly for cash.  You also have the options as to whether it must be an EXACT MATCH for the keywords, or if a BROAD MATCH (which includes variations) is acceptable.  PPC advertising is an art, and you’ll want to monitor and revise your campaigns to improve performance.  Google will even make suggestions for other keywords you might use, etc.

To use AdWords, all you need is a Gmail account to get started – check out this link to learn more:

Bing is another option – and it may be a GREAT option for you simply because advertisers tend to focus on Google first.  As a result, we often see a lower cost per click on Bing because there is not as much competition.  Click on this link to learn more about advertising on Bing:

2. HIRE SOMEONE

If you’re not technical and the sites above were just speaking Greek to you, then you’ll want to consider hiring someone to create and manage your Pay-Per-Click campaigns.  Most PPC management firms will have a minimum monthly fee, so this option works best for investors that are consistently spending more that $1,000 per month on PPC.  There are many companies that can do this for you, including our team at WeBuyHouses.com!

3. BUY LEADS

There are companies that are experts in PPC marketing that generate leads all over the country via very sophisticated national & local PPC campaigns.  Rather than go through all the challenges of creating & managing your own PPC accounts, you could just buy motivated home seller leads from one of these companies.

We operate a company called Fast Home Offer that is largest lead generator for real estate investors in the North America.  If you are interested in purchasing leads (rather than running your own PPC campaigns), we’d be happy to provide you more information about that program.
